A DETAILED ITINERARY FOR THE 2-DAY TANZANIA WILDLIFE SAFARI

ARRIVE IN TANZANIA
You will be picked up at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Moshi/Arusha town. There, you will meet our guide, who will brief you on your upcoming two-day wildlife Tanzania safari.

Day 1: ARUSHA-TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, your private guide will meet you for your journey to Tarangire National Park, a few hours from Arusha town—118 km. This park has the highest population density of elephants in the northern circuit. It is home to over 550 bird species, including the heaviest flying bird, the Kori bustard.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its dense wildlife population during the dry season, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and numerous grazers. Climbing tree pythons can also be spotted here, and the scenery, featuring baobab and acacia trees, offers a beautiful and distinctive location to visit. Tour activities in Tarangire include game driving, ballooning, bird watching, and guided walking safaris. After lunch, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight accommodations. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Accommodation options: Semi-luxury lodges.

Day 2: NGORONGORO CRATER
After an early breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, known as “Africa’s Eden” and a must-visit destination. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world, standing at 2286 m above sea level. It is home to nearly 30000 animals, with almost half being wildebeests and zebras. The crater is also one of the few places in East Africa where visitors can be sure to spot black rhinos. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area was established as a multi-use area to conserve natural resources, safeguard the interests of indigenous residents, and promote tourism.

This unique protected area in Africa integrates the conservation of natural resources with human activities. As a UNESCO World Heritage site, it also serves as a habitat for elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, and many other species, both grazers and carnivores. After a full day of game driving, you will return to Arusha town in the late evening.
