A DETAILED ITINERARY FOR THE 8-DAY TANZANIA SAFARI

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Relax and prepare for your 8-day Tanzania safari adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a game drive before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

Travel to the Serengeti, where vast plains stretch as far as the eye can see. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of predators and migrating herds overnight in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti. Depending on the season, witness dramatic river crossings, predator-prey interactions, and the stunning beauty of the savannah. Overnight in Serengeti.

Day 5: Serengeti – Northern Serengeti (Mara River)

Head towards the Northern Serengeti, where the Great Migration is at its peak. Watch thousands of wildebeest and zebras risk their lives crossing the crocodile-infested Mara River. This is one of the most thrilling wildlife spectacles in the world, overnight near the Mara River.

Day 6: Northern Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Enjoy a morning game drive before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, witness more of the Serengeti’s incredible wildlife. Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim for a relaxing evening.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” The crater is home to dense wildlife, including lions, rhinos, and hippos. Return to Arusha for your final night after a game drive and picnic lunch.

Day 8: Departure

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before transferring to the airport for your onward flight, marking the end of an incredible 8-day Tanzania safari adventure.
